Brant Broughton (pronounced Brew-ton) is a small village in the Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe civil parish, in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It lies north of the A17 road and west of Leadenham, where the A17 crosses the A607 road.
Doddington Hall is, from the outside, an Elizabethan prodigy house or mansion complete with walled courtyards and a gabled gatehouse. Inside it was very largely updated in the 1760s. It is located in the village of Doddington, to the west of the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England.

In keeping with Great British Traditions, one of the main local attractions is (naturally) our local pub, The Generous Briton. It is steeped in history and just a few minutes walk down the road in the centre of our pretty little village, Brant Broughton. The Generous Briton has been a public house for over 200 years.
In the very early days Quakers met for worship in their own homes, but with religious tolerance in 1689 Meeting Houses were established. While a few were purpose built many, like Brant Broughton, were converted from buildings already in existence. Brant Broughton Meeting House was originally a thatched barn with a one-up, one-down cottager attached.
